Heathrow Express cuts fares for fans travelling to and from Milano-Cortina as winter sporting action grips the world

With supporters travelling from across the UK to be part of the sporting event, Heathrow Express is offering 12% off full-fare tickets, giving passengers the chance to reach the airport faster while keeping more cash in their pockets. 

The move comes as the cost of attending the games adds up for many fans, with average hotel room rates in Milan around February doubling to €481-€516 per night (£410-£440), and total trip costs - including transport, accommodation, event tickets and food - often reaching £2,450 or more for a multi-night stay in Northern Italy.

And it’s not just about saving money - it’s about starting the trip stress-free. Heathrow Express features spacious, comfortable carriages with ample luggage space - perfect for bulky winter coats, ski wear and extra layers. Travellers looking to streamline their trip even further can upgrade to Business First, which includes Fast Track security at Heathrow, helping passengers glide from train to terminal and into holiday mode faster.

The 12% discount applies to both Standard Class and Business First fares. Tickets can be booked until 27th February 2026 online or via the Heathrow Express app using the code WINTERHEX - with discounted travel valid for journeys until 27th February 2027. The offer also extends to additional passengers booked on the same journey.
